Disney and Cruise Travel Advisor in Fort Worth, Texas

I'm Cynthia Whittaker, an independent travel advisor in Fort Worth, Texas. I plan Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Universal Orlando, Sandals and national park trips for families across the United States, and there is no fee for travel planning. Tell me who is going and how old the kids are, and I will put the trip together.

My own family has made travel a priority for years, and I help other families do the same without the stress. I ask the ages of the kids before anything else, because the right ship, resort and room depend on them.

What I Book

How Working With Me Goes

  1. Send the quote form. Dates, who is traveling, the kids' ages, a budget range and what you are hoping for. If you only know you need a vacation, that is enough to start.
  2. Get a written proposal in 1 to 3 business days. I compare resorts or ships, flag the pricing windows and lay out the total, the deposit and the payment dates.
  3. Book and pay the supplier directly. Your deposit goes to Disney, the cruise line or the resort. I manage the reservation and keep a dated list of what is due when.
  4. I watch the trip until you are home. If a discount comes out after you book, I ask the supplier to apply it. If something goes wrong on the trip, you call me instead of a 1-800 number.

What It Costs

Nothing. There is no fee for travel planning. The suppliers pay me, so a trip booked through me costs the same as booking it yourself. The first proposal and two revisions are included.

Why Families in Texas Book Through Me

I plan the way I plan for my own family. My girls have sailed Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean with us, so when I compare an older ship with a newer one I am describing the kids club and the theming we actually saw. I will tell you when the cheaper option is the better one, and I will tell you when it is not.

I am a member of CLIA, the Cruise Lines International Association, and I book through the host agency Famvia, which gives me supplier access and a back office behind every reservation. I am based in Fort Worth and work with families all over the country by email, text and phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Disney travel agents cost money?

No. There is no fee for travel planning through Cynthia Stays Curated. Disney, the cruise lines and the resorts pay Cynthia a commission. Your trip costs the same as booking direct. The first proposal and two revisions are free.

Is Cynthia Stays Curated a legit travel advisor?

Yes. Cynthia Whittaker is an independent travel advisor based in Fort Worth, Texas, a member of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and books through the host agency Famvia. Every payment goes directly to the supplier, so your deposit sits with Disney, Royal Caribbean or the resort and never with a middleman.

Do you work with families outside Texas?

Yes. Planning happens by email, text and phone, so Cynthia plans trips for families anywhere in the United States. Fort Worth families get the same service from someone who knows the DFW flights to Orlando and the drive to Galveston for a cruise.

Which cruise lines can you book?

Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages and MSC Cruises. Cynthia compares ships by age, theming and kids club, then checks cabin pricing, gratuities and the port day so nothing surprises you after you book.

How far ahead should I reach out?

Six to 11 months before a Disney World trip gives you the best choice of resorts and dining. Cruises are usually cheapest when itineraries first open, often 12 to 18 months out. If your dates are closer, reach out anyway and Cynthia will tell you what is still available.

Hosting a rental too? I also design short-term rentals remotely. See virtual short-term rental interior design or read about Cynthia.
